The Legends Black
The Legends Black had a terrific run at the USSSA Elite 32 tournament in Orlando, Fl. After going 3 and 0 in pool play, the Legends Black was the #1 seed in its pool going into bracket play. One of the victories in pool play was against the #5 team in the nation out of California. Bracket play started with an extra inning game (9 innings) and three hours later the Legends Black team had a walk off infield single to win the game in dramatic fashion. They followed this game up two hours later in another 9 inning game, against the #4 team in the nation out of Florida, and as in the earlier game won on a walk off single, to go 5 and 0. At this point the Legends Black team a relatively unknown team Nationally was getting a lot of attention by many of the other highly ranked teams in attendance. Their next bracket game was against the #8 team in the nation out of Pennsylvania, in which they lost 4 to 3. They had another chance to advance in the next game against, the #3 team in the nation out of Florida, here the power hitting Florida team proved to be too much for the strong pitching of the Legends Black, losing 6 to 0.
The Legends Black team finished the USSSA Elite 32 tournament 5 and 2, finishing 9th out of 32 teams. The Legends Black had standout pitching performances from Jon Perkins (College Park), Chris Cooper (Montgomery), Jaden Holden (College Park), Ty Ewart (Porter) and Jacob Barfield (Pearland). The Legends Black had walk off hits from Travis Jones (Atascocita) and Chris Cavazos (Klein) in the extra inning game victories. The Legends Black team was lead on the field by Coach Rick Lynch (Tomball Head Baseball Coach)."

Youth & Toddler Flag Football
Youth Flag Football LeagueYouth 6-12
This League is designed for boys and girls ages 6 thru 12 to have fun and learn the game of football. Teams will be coached by the Legends football staff (volunteers are welcomed also). League will be a 5 vs 5 and is co-ed . Kids will be placed on teams by age and athletic ability displayed in the preseason skills session practices.
- Practices will be held one hour prior to the game
- All games will be held on Saturdays with a start time of 10 a.m. for first game
- 2 preseason skill session practices will be held also
- 8 game season with single game elimination playoffs at end of season - 10 players per team
- Game shirts will be provided as well as flags
- Referees will also be provided as well for each game
- Indoor/Outdoor league (weather depending)
- Each team will play at least 1 game each Saturday
- Trophies for league winning team
- Early registration is strongly advised

Toddler Flag Football ProgramToddler
This program is for kids 3 - 5 years old to learn and become familiar with the game of football. Kids will learn how to catch, throw, run, and take handoffs of the football as well as footwork and ladder drills.
- There will be 5 practice sessions with a fun played game after each session
- Each kid will receive a mouth piece and shirt
- First practice session will be held Aug. 28, 2010, 10 am until 11:15 am on saturday mornings
- Cost is $75
- Kids will be coached by experienced coaches and players
- All indoor activities

- Team registration fee is $300 plus referee fees.
- Deadline is June 5, 2010.
- Space is limited and registration will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
- Winner of league will receive a t-shirt.
Recreational/Church Adult Basketball League

This league is for players who want to have competitive fun.
League information:
• League will be played on either a Tuesday or Thursday evenings at the Legends Sports Complex.
• League Begins June 8, 2010 kick off time will be at 9 PM.
• League is open to adult’s ages 18 years and over. Each team plays 2 games a night.
• Each team will play 8 games. Plus tournament play. Each game is 40 minutes long.
• Team rosters are limited to 10 players
• Team registration fee: $350. This includes referee fees.
• Refer a team and get $100 off your entry fee. Your referral team must mention your name.
• Deadline: June 1, 2010.
• Winner of league will receive a t-shirt.
• Space is limited and registration will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
ATTENTION: All league participants must purchase a Sports Program Annual Membership available for $24.00 per person which covers spectators fee, security, and clean up. This is a onetime fee that last for a year.
